This policy applies to Mosi version 1.0 and all updates that do not change how data is handled. If a future version changes any of this, the policy will be updated before that version ships and you will be clearly informed.

Who we are

Mosi is developed and published by Viking Net LLC, a small independent studio. If you have questions about this policy, reach us at the support page.

What Mosi collects

Mosi does not collect personal data. Specifically, Mosi does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Your location
• Your health or wellness data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Crash reports or diagnostics sent to any server

There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, and no advertising network integrated into the app.

Where your data lives

Your habit check-ins, companion progress, focus sessions, and preferences are stored exclusively in the app's local storage on your device, using standard iOS data protection. This data never leaves your device through Mosi. Mosi has no server of its own to send it to.

AI helpers and submitted text

Mosi version 1.0 includes AI helpers: Break a task down, Brain dump to steps, Soften a message, Read the feeling, Estimate time, and Help me decide.

How they work: When you use an AI helper, the specific text you type into that helper is sent to an AI service to be processed and generate a response. This is necessary for the feature to work.

What is not sent: Your habit data, companion progress, check-in history, and app preferences are not sent anywhere. Only the text you actively type into a helper prompt is transmitted.

No account required: You do not need to create an account or provide any personal information to use the AI helpers. Requests are made without linking your identity to them.

What to keep in mind: Do not put sensitive personal information (passwords, government IDs, financial details) into an AI helper prompt. Use them for task breakdowns, message softening, and decision support, the purposes they are designed for.

No accounts, no login

Mosi requires no account to use. You do not sign up, log in, or provide any personal information to access any feature. Habit tracking, companion growth, and focus tools work entirely offline. AI helpers require a network connection but no account.

No ads, no data sharing

Mosi contains no advertisements. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your data with any third party. Your personal data stays on your device; we have nothing to share.

No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs

Mosi does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking libraries. There are no hidden SDKs that collect data on our behalf.

iCloud and device backups

If you have iCloud Backup enabled, your app data may be included in your personal iCloud backup as part of standard iOS behavior. This is controlled by you through your iPhone settings. Viking Net LLC does not have access to your iCloud backups.

Children

Mosi is designed for general audiences. Because Mosi does not collect personal data from any users, there are no special data handling concerns for children. We comply with COPPA by collecting no personal data at all. For AI helpers, we recommend parental guidance for children, as submitted text is processed by an AI service.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change Mosi in a way that affects how data is handled, we will update this policy, update the App Store privacy disclosure, and notify users through the app before the change takes effect. We will never make data collection changes silently.

The current version of this policy will always be available at trymosi.com.
